Updated for the 2026/27 tax year.

Editorial and Commercial Policy

Last updated on 20 April 2026. This page explains how IsMyPayRight handles advertising, affiliate links, editorial independence, and commercial disclosures.

Who we are

IsMyPayRight.co.uk is an independent UK site focused on take-home pay, payslips, tax codes, and salary-sacrifice effects. It is not owned by a payroll provider, lender, pension scheme, or financial-services firm.

The site is designed to explain how UK PAYE outcomes work. It is not personalised financial advice and it is not regulated advice.

We are not authorised by the FCA

We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We do not provide regulated investment advice, mortgage advice, or personal recommendations.

If you need advice about your own circumstances, use MoneyHelper or speak to a suitably qualified professional.

How we make money

The site may use display advertising and clearly labelled affiliate partnerships to cover product costs. Those commercial elements are optional and are turned off by default until the relevant partner or ad network has approved us.

If we use affiliate links, we earn a commission when somebody signs up through that link. Every sponsored placement is labelled and every active partner should be listed on this page.

Editorial rules we apply to ourselves

  • We do not tell users what to do with their money or which product to choose.
  • We do not publish best-buy tables, rankings, or product endorsements next to sponsored content.
  • We keep commercial labels plain and obvious: Sponsored, Advertisement, or In partnership with.
  • We disclose commission-earning links and keep commercial relationships separate from explanatory content.
  • We do not attach affiliate links to employer-operated salary-sacrifice schemes such as pension, EV, Cycle to Work, or Holiday Buy.
  • We cite primary sources for tax and payroll claims and correct mistakes when we find them.

Current sponsored partners

None yet.

When a partnership goes live, this section will list the partner, the category, and the nature of the commercial arrangement.

Methodology and corrections

Commercial relationships do not change the tax logic used by the calculator or the checker. Those surfaces are aligned to the same methodology described on the methodology page.

If you believe the site has made a factual error or an unclear commercial disclosure, email hello@ismypayright.co.uk.
